I had the great opportunity to interview Rick on the phone. He’s a great guy who is way into deer hunting.

I asked Rick if he brings his phone or electronics out in the woods. He said he enjoys just watching the animals. First those chipmunks, then the squirrels. Too many times I see a facebook update of “in the stand now” but it seems like if you’re distracted my that you may miss your opportunity, and in the wild you seldom get a second chance.

Meet Terry Scoville. Terry enjoys being outdoors and her favorite activity is waterfowl hunting. She was over 30 years of waterfowl hunting experience. Check out her outdoors blog The Women’s Hunting Journal. While I’m not from Oregon, her latest post is some Jeff Foxworthy quotes about “You might be from Oregon”. One of them is “If you find 10 degrees “a little chilly”, you live in Oregon.” I’m in Northern KY and 10 degreed is ALOT chilly here!

Our featured outdoors blogger is Marian Love Phillips! Right now on her blog, Marian’s Hunting Stories, etc., etc., etc., she has a youtube video of snow in Louisiana (lucky!), pictures, and a pretty funny Christmas related cartoon. Check it out. I never knew Santa was a hunter. Check out her blog and you will see what I mean. Check her blog almost daily as she is a very active blogger, posting multiple times per week!

Marians favorite outdoor activities include deer hunting and walking in our National Military Park.

Arthur is talking with his two new writers and they do not understand how he remains so dedicated to write for his blog. He says this post is 426 (WOW that’s alot of posts!) Arthur is right blogging just like any other hobby takes dedication. Successful hunters don’t just put their camo on opening day morning and get the big one. They prepare months before.
