Vapur Anti-Bottle

Vapur Anti-Bottle

The Vapur Anti-Bottle is just that: It’s a bottle that folds up, unlike a normal bottle. I was lucky enough to be given a sample of their 0.5 liter anti-bottle for review. My thoughts about thew Vapur Anti-Bottle are below.

These bottles are awesome to keep around. They don’t take a lot of space in your daypack or also folded up anywhere you have the room. The plastic is really thick and comes with a carabiner to attach the bottle just about anywhere and also has a reinforfing grommet for more strength. The sample I was sent is their blue model but the colors vary and there are also kids models available at the retailers listed below. The Vapur Anti-Bottle is also freezable, however I do not recommend you simply store it in the freezer. Put it in there the night before you need it and it will be ready the next morning. I usually fill mine about 1/2 way or so and freeze it. Then I can add water to the bottle for quicker drinking. If you’re not going to be needing the bottle for some time you can fill it with more water prior to freezing. The Vapur Anti-Bottle will also fit into most cup holders. If you loose the cap that comes with the bottle

Cleaning: The packaging states it is dishwasher safe, however I prefer to hand wash this bottle and air dry. A lot less beating around of the bottle and I don’t like the heat of the dishwasher.

The major downfall I saw you would experience with any type of non-insulated bottle: condensation. Condensation will form on the bottle so whatever the bottle is next to will get wet.

You can buy the bottles at:

Interesting. I’d never seen this before. I think I’m going to order a couple to try.

Interesting – my favorite water bottle is stainless steel – I will look for this at my local REI.
