Gifts for the Outdoorsy Family

by Justin on December 17, 2012

A little close to Christmas but I thought I would share anyway..

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

This **might** be some stuff I like also 🙂 I thought I would put this post together with a list of some gifts the outdoorsy family might like for Christmas. Here are some things I found:

  • If it’s for a kid get them a kids size fishing pole. There are many to choose from, Scooby Doo, Snoopy. Keep them interested in fishing when the fish aren’t biting as much.
  • A new tackle box. I know someone who could use this. I’m not saying who.
  • Cumberland Float Tube(I really like this one)
  • New waders
  • Hiking

    • A new hydration pack
    • Hiking staff or collapsable hiking poles
    • Binoculars
    • Check for books on local hikes. I have found some around me I didn’t know about.
    • If you know what they like maybe trail food. It usually stores for a while

We just love the headlamps with red lights. It’s so convenient for star gazing and when we watched the meteor show last month, the red light was essential! thanks!

A friend of mine recently gave me a set of hydroflask products. From big t small they’re all good. They can be bulky but they are durable and really keep all liquids cold and hot. Just a suggestion…
