Father’s Day Gift Ideas For the Outdoorsy Dad

by Justin on June 6, 2012

Father’s Day 2012 is coming up in a couple of weeks (Sunday, June 17th 2012) and I thought I would get a list together for ideas for the outdoor loving dad (myself included)

  • New camp grill
  • Kiwi brand Camp Dry water repellant spray for the tent

  • Gerber multi-tool (I never go out camping or hiking without mine)

  • A gift certificate to his favorite outdoors store (Bass Pro!!)
  • A solar flashlight
  • Fishing with my father book
  • A hammock (makes me want to nap just thinking about laying in one!)
  • New camp chair (to sit in prior to getting in the hammock!)
  • Some new paracord or rope for the camping box. Never hurts to replace every once in a while.
  • Extra tent stakes (can always use those!)
  • Finally: a Flip type camera. The Flip isn’t made anymore but one similar. Small, easy to put in a daypack, holds a charge for a long time. HD. Easy to get videos off of. I like mine a lot.

Personally though, just spending time with my son is a gift enough.
