Hummingbirds Are Here For 2008

According to this map hummingbirds have been sighted in Northern Kentucky! It is time to fill up my trusty hummingbird feeder and hang it from the kitchen window. Hummingbirds are fun to watch. We can be eating dinner right on the other side and they will swoop in and eat. They are also fun to watch because they are so territorial. As soon as one lands to feed it is just a short matter of time before another one will fly up and fight the others. Does anyone else out there enjoy watching hummingbirds?

    We have had several hummingbirds come to our feeder. They are not yet comfortable with us so they fly away as soon as they notice us walking inside.
