Big Bone Lick State Park

Date of stay: April 20 – 22, 2007
Type: tent camping

Wow! What a clean state park! They close the bathrooms every morning for 30-45 minutes to thoroughly clean the bathrooms. We stayed close to the bathrooms and could tell they clean them at least once per hour. The staff was friendly and courteous. Their camp store is kind of expensive but that is expected. The park was quiet at night. The pathways are paved so the kids can ride their bikes and scooters all around the park. The pool was not open for the season. The fish were not biting :( The trails were clean and fun to hike. The mini golf was ok but the course is not kept up with and is in need of maintenance.
