I thought I would add a list of common things to take camping. I have forgotten many of these things so I thought I would compile a list of common items.

I’m sure there are more. Feel free to post your great camping items.

You mat want add a radio or communication device to the list.
Also, a return date to family or friends in case an emergency arises.

That’s of course if you camp like we do, WAY out in no-mans land.

If I may, I would like to offer a couple of suggestions that are high on my list.

Tick repellant spray,
A good knife,
A 10-20 ft coil of some heavy twine or cord.

I agree, you definitely need a good knife. I went camping about a month ago and just picked up a cheep one off Nothing special, but it did the job for a cheap price 🙂

always a good idea to make a list and check and recheck it, as than one will not forget the things which he needed at the camping spot.

How about one of these in your Survival Kit

I was thinking instead of the twine or cord you could take a paracord bracelet also.
